About Bob Gearhart
Robert spent 30 years in the systems integration business as an engineering and security systems solutions provider. Most of his efforts have been spent driving companies to successfully integrate COTS and proven emerging technologies into integrated solution sets for International, Commercial, DoD, Federal, State and Local Customers. He has extensive experience in general management, business development, operations, program management, worldwide marketing and business finance.
GCS offers consulting services to Systems Integrators and End Users. GCS services include but are not limited to Business and Strategy Development including Customer Relationship Development, Go-to-Market Strategy Deployment, Capture and Proposal Support, Price-to-Win analysis and Product and Market Research. End User focus has been on DHS, DoS, DoJ, USA, DISA and USAF. Most recently, we supported Customer pursuits on DHS Mgmt./CPB/CISA/Eagle Opportunities, State GSE&SC, USAF FPS.
Presently, Mr. Gearhart is in his third term as a member of the AFCEA International Homeland Security Executive Committee. This committee is made up of members from Industry, Academia and the Department of Homeland Security. He is also a member of AFCEA International’s Small Business Executive Committee. Recently, Robert has chaired the Small Business portion of the Homeland Security Annual Conference as well as being on the Committee organizing and running DHS’ Reverse Industry Day.
Robert was the previous Chairman of the New York State Business Council's Homeland Security Committee. He also sat on Northrop Grumman's Corporate Executive Committee for Homeland Security. And, as a member of that team designed, developed and wrote the plan for the New York State's Center of Innovation and Excellence (CoIE) for Homeland Security which included $25M+ of grant funding.
Previously, Mr. Gearhart worked in various capacities at the Northrop Grumman Corporation. He led BD for the $320M Critical Infrastructure and Security Operating Unit. He was the Capture lead on the Air Force’s IBDSS pursuit and after award ran the business. While at Northrop, he led the Integrated Systems Sector's security initiatives in the pursuit of new opportunities such as the JPEOCBD security and surveillance programs, IBDSS recompete, SBInet and eBorders. He also served as the sector’s lead participant on a company-wide Northrop Security IPT. Mr. Gearhart coordinated the activities of security initiatives throughout the Integrated Systems Sector. At the corporate level, Mr. Gearhart was a member of two Northrop Grumman security integrated strategy teams focused on domain awareness and critical infrastructure protection, respectively. He was also a member of the corporation’s Homeland Security/Homeland Defense Executive Council which reported to the President/COO.
